ok,

so we went to security to report my missing labtop and camera and my flatmates phone. and we wrote down our statements. i was quite freaked out.

two hours later security guy drove as to town centrum and we went to police station in where they had one big room full of tables and police officers going around. and then we had to write down another statement and then i had to swear an oath!!!! really, i had to raise my hand and swear to have written down only truth and by God and all. haha. Thats so so.. i cant find a word to discribe how i felt. :)

the ugly part of this all is, after i calmed down and dont feel so angry about the stuff (i know, its only money and i have loads--haha) that its seriously creepy that the guy had been following me around in order to find out where i live and whats my name and so on. and yeah, the security guys on campus think my flatmates description on him sounds like a guy whos been stealing sutff from graduate village earlier on as well.. if they find him (which i highly doubt) he will be procecuted though.

and now i have to come to library every time i want to get on computer. and no more photos folks.. aaargh.

ok, move on to nicer stuff:

Jo'burg was wonderful. its actually quite ironic it being the city with highest crime rate in the world that nobody got robbed and then i come back to "safe" gabs (gaborone) and this happens, ha. anyways, we travelled there on friday for 11 hours with Sanna and swedish Jessica. Others had left on thursday morning already, but we had a class in which we wisited a village nearby gabs called Tlokweng and interwieved the chief about their traditional music. well good i must say.

so we arrived in Jo'burg around one in the afternoon and a local guy who travelled with us form gabs said we shouldnt leave the station (as said the guide books.. oh some of them actually said about jo'burg: dont go- ha) unless there was someone to pick you up form there. and he said we shouldnt trust taxidrivers either. so i called the hostel, backpackers ritz it was called, and a driver came to pick us up around 2pm. we finally got to the hostel 4,30 after making stops at the airport and supermarket (our driveer went in, spent 30minutes in shop and came out with lots of beer). the hostel was beautiful place, it used to be a mansoin which was turned into a hostel. absolutely gorgeus view, the whole city ahead of us.(it was on a hill, the hostel)

in the evening we went out all together (14)  and the food and the atmosphere was amazing. i went to bed around 10pm and slept well. saturday morning we spent in "Lion Park" in where i saw giraffs for the first time in my life, and fed them!!!! and cuddled a lion cub. it was all good. and they had cheetahs and leopards and zebras and i HAD photos of them all and now.. oh well.

in the afternoon we took a tour in Soweto (south western township) in where all the black people (4million all together) were forced to live during apartheid. and that was quite heavy. as well as the museum in Soweto, and the aparthied museum in which we went to with Sanna on sun morning. In the evening i was nacked again, we ordered in some chinese food (it was SOO good!!) and drank some wine in the darkness of the evening, i  hit bed at 9pm.

sunday mornin we did the museum and then back to station and 7 hours ride home. in the border they werent too happy i still dont have my waever- i got 70 days on my passport now so ineed to fix the immigration visit soon. i was supposed to do it today but i got some other business to attend to.

few things to end thi with> the moon here is other way around and can be seen at all times. yesterday and today i attended aerobics class outside and we had to move during the class because sun moved. it was ace. and yes, i had a third thing i wanted to share but it seems i forgot about it.

thats all for now, thanks for your support!
